Quatarious Jones is a really athletic forward that has a motor that simply doesn’t stop. He is a high level shot blocker, and does a great job of altering shots around the rim that he can’t get his hands on. He is also one of the best rebounders in the state. On the offensive end, he can finish above the rim, but he also has soft touch, so he does a better job scoring out of the post than you would expect.
Michael Jones 6’6 F Woodlawn-Shreve
Michael Jones is also a really long, athletic forward, that excels on the defensive end of the ball. He is a high level rim protector, and is able to anchor a defense at the high school level. He is also one of the better dunkers of his class. He has a role as a screen setter, and really excels in that role. He rolls harder than you see often at the high school level, and that allows him to catch the defense off guard.
Kyle Henderson 6’0 G Sterlington
Henderson is a really high level scoring guard, as he averaged over 26 ppg this past season. He is a capable scorer from all 3 levels, but he really excels shooting the ball from deep. He has a lightning quick release, and is able to get his shot off before the defense is able to contest. He has good feel for the game on both ends of the floor. He anticipates well on the defensive end, and is able to get his hands in the passing lanes.
AJ Taylor 5’7 G Loyola College Prep
Taylor is an undersized lead guard that is lightning quick on both sides of the ball. What I really love about his game is that he plays fearless, relentlessly attacking the rim even against bigger opponents. He puts a lot of pressure on the defense, and is able to make correct reads well enough to deliver the ball to shooters when the help defense tries to stop him.
