Khalil Lewis is an up and coming basketball player from Henry Ford Academy SCS. He is in the class of 2020 and is anticipating a breakout senior season. Lewis can be seen playing grassroots basketball for All Out Elite this spring and summer. We recently caught up with Khalil Lewis to talk about high school season, grassroots basketball, and more. 

Question:

What is the biggest strength of your game?

Khalil Lewis:

My biggest strength is defense and shooting.

Question:

Were you satisfied with your high school season?

Khalil Lewis:

No, but a break through is coming soon.

Question:

What was the highlight of high school season for you?

Khalil Lewis:

When I did a jab step on a River Rouge player and hit a deep three.

Question:

What will you be doing this spring and summer to improve?

Khalil Lewis:

I will be working on ball handling, my body, and AAU.

Question:

What areas of your game are you working to improve?

Khalil Lewis:

My ball handling and attacking the basket way more.

What are your long term goals in basketball?

Khalil Lewis:

To get a scholarship anywhere and play pro basketball.
