Isaiah Range nearing a decision
Trinity Christian-Cedar Hill/Dallas Mustangs swingman Isaiah Range announced his final list of schools on Tuesday night. Midwestern State, Niagara University, Tarleton State, and UT-Permian Basin are the four remaining universities on the four-time TAPPS first team all-state performer’s list.
When talking about the parts of his game he needs to improve on when getting ready for the next level, Range says, “I need to get in shape and build my body. I also am working on my three-point shot to become a consistent threat.”

IN ISAIAH’S WORDS
Midwestern State: “It was a good visit. The team was really cool and easy to play with. The coaches showed a lot of love. They talked about how they plan on letting me get a lot of clock as a freshman; which is cool because they do not let many freshmen do that.”
Tarleton State: “The visit was a great one. The coaches were really cool and the campus was very nice. They told me that as a freshman I could start and be a key player for them. The facilities were nice and they are growing also. The players are really cool people.”
UT-Permian Basin: “The UTPB visit was a cool one. There was a lot to do out there in Odessa. The coaches were really cool and they also are wanting to start me as a freshman. The campus was really big and they are also adding to it as we speak.”
FINAL THOUGHTS
I am looking for Tarleton to be the favorite here. The Texans’ program came in late, offering earlier this month and could provide the opportunity for Range to play right away. Range will be making his decision today at 1:30 P.M.
