Shamar Norman – Windsor Forest HS (Savannah) – Team Intensity (photo on front)
Norman 5’9 was on a mission all weekend long for his squad. Prep Hoops saw Norman score 26 points in a close loss to eventual tourney champion Georgia Stars 16U. Norman averaged 16.1 ppg this season for the Knights (25-6). Norman a 1st Team All-Region performer was constantly around the ball all day long. Norman showed to have a solid mid-range game and really finished well at the rim on several occasions today. Norman helped Team Intensity win the Silver Bracket at the Icebreaker Invitational.
Jaylen Blount
Jaylen Blount – Hephzibah HS – Southern Kings 16U
Blount is a true point guard that really plays at a nice even keel. Blount 5’11 finds the open man and gets the ball into the gaps with quite ease. Blount averaged 14.6 ppg this season for the Rebels.
Breylon Davis
Breylon Davis – Hephzibah HS – Southern Kings 16U
Davis 6’1 is a physically gifted guard with a football body. Davis has great body control and gets to the basket whenever he wants to it seems. Davis and Blount both played last year with Team Power. Davis averaged 13.2 ppg this season for the Hephzibah HS Rebels.
Corey Trotter
Corey Trotter – Cross Creek HS (Augusta) – Southern Kings 16U
Trotter 6’5 showed a soft touch around the cup here today. Trotter averaged 6.3 ppg and 8.1 rebounds this past season for Cross Creek HS. Trotter used a jump-hook on few occasions today along with rebounding the ball on both ends of the floor.
Richard Visitacion
Richard Visitacion – Butler HS (Augusta) – Team Power 16U
Visitacion 5’11 is extremely quick with the ball in his hands. Visitacion really likes to push the tempo of the game and keeps the ball low to the ground. Visitacion connected on some three pointers and pull-up jumpers in transition. Visitacion lacks no shortage of confidence on the floor. Visitacion turns the corner very well with the ball in his hands.
