Ajang Aguek (Taylor Made Prep/Team Harden 2019)
Ajang has been looking very much improved as of late. He is finally turning into the product that everyone hoped he would. He has extended his game quite a bit and can shoot the 3 with efficiency. He is also a monster on the boards and has greatly improved his athleticism. He has really benefited from going post grad.
Malik Smith (Ironwood/Zone 6 2019)
Malik Smith is working on his guard skills and that’s a very good move. In college, he will have to play the 1 or 2 spot but doesn’t play that on his high school team. He chose Zone 6 as his AAU squad so that he could get more run at the point guard spot. Coaches have committed to helping him improve his skills as a guard and he is fitting into the role quite nicely.
Ty Harper (Moon Valley/Team Harden 2020)
It is always fun watching Ty Harper play! Every second that the ball is in his hands, there’s a chance for a highlight. Harper has elite leaping ability and his improving his shot steadily. He struggled shooting it at the start but stayed with it and his form looks much improved. He eventually starting hitting as the day progressed.
Jordan Bombolis (Apollo/AZ Future 2021)
Jordan is a sneaky good player. I saw him play last year at Apollo, many people don’t know about him yet because he played JV but trust me…he can play. He has great handles and play making skills. He can also get a shot for himself with ease. He was knocking down mid-range jumpers and 3’s all day long.
