Not only did the underclassman come to play, but a couple of unsigned seniors brought it also. Here is some notable unsigned seniors that are still on the board. Coaches should definitely have these guys on their radar to fill spots as needed.
Orion Virden 6’3 SG / Mills Universial Studies {AR} / 2019 / All-Arkansas Red US
This kid can flat out shoot the ball. Coaches looking for a shooting guard look no further. He moves well without the ball in his hands. He is able to take his man off the dribble. Great catch and shoot player. He isn’t just a shooter from behind the arc, but he can also score the ball well from the mid-range. Plays solid on-ball defense with good lateral movement. Plays physical and makes smart decisions. He would be a great fit for any D3/NAIA/JuCo program.
Desmond Elliott 6’8 F-C / Yukon HS {OK} / 2019 / Below The Rim
This big is a rebounding specialist. One of the few prospects that I seen who boxes out every time. He doesn’t try to out jump his opponents. His technique for rebounding is pure fundamental. He does have bounce to his game. Scores well in the paint. Traditional big who thrives on the low block. Would be a good fit for any D3/NAIA schools looking for a big.
Auston Chatman 6’6 SF / Shadow Creek HS {TX} / 2019 / D1 Houston
Lengthy wing that plays with a great motor. Has a solid frame already. He has a great shot off the bounce. Good elevation on his shot. Scores at all levels on the floor. Thrives from the mid-range, and getting into the paint. When he’s on he is on. Plays solid defense. Can guard the two through four positions. Has active hands on the defensive side of the ball. Would be solid on the D2/D3/NAIA level.
Ty Archibald 6’0 SG / Houston Christian HS {TX} / 2019 / FYN All-Stars
Ty is a great shooter from the outside. Moves well without the ball. Comes off of screens very tightly. Plus catch and shooter. Trying to move his way to the point guard position. Has decent IQ and a nice handle on the ball. His strong suite is shooting the ball and being a scorer in an offensive set. Would benefit some programs at the D3/NAIA levels.
Zac Harris 6’5 SF / Bellaire HS {TX} / 2019 / Houston Raptors – Benjamin
Zac has been raising his stock since Spring/Summer ball has began for him 3 weeks ago. He continues to play with a high motor. Knocks down the trey ball at a high rate. He also attacks well from the wing. Has some athleticism in his game and plays above the rim. Gets after it on the defensive side of the ball. Challenges opponents at the rim defensively. Has blocked a number of dunk attempts on the season. Would be a solid 3&D guy at the D2/D3/NAIA/ JuCo level.
Tristian Pratt 6’4 SF / Colorado / 2019 / P.L.U.T.O. Prospects
This prospect is from Colorado but went to school in Florida and has now moved back to Colorado. Good frame on this prospect. He is athletic and has good bounce to his game. He is a set up guy at the small forward position. Has a decent handle on the ball. Has good IQ and makes the right plays at the right times. He averaged 5 assist a game during the session. Uses his athleticism to rebound the ball. Could fit well with a D3/JuCo/NAIA school.
Stephan Morris 6’9 C / Houston Fur HS {TX} / 2019 / Texas Supreme Kings
This long athletic big plays with a great motor. He is a rim runner. Fills the lanes well in transition. Plays above the rim. Has good timing defensively to block shots. Super active on the floor until he runs out of gas. He will run through a brick wall for you. I seen him put a defender in the rim with a nasty one handed cock back jam. Has good hands and catches hard passes. Active on the glass as well. Would be a good pick up for any D2/D3/JuCo/NAIA programs who is still in need of a big.
Jarrett Hensley 6’8 CF / Leavenworth HS {KS} / 2019 / Team KC
This combo forward has a lot of skills that he utilizes in his game. He is long with a great wingspan. Gets after it on each and every possession. Plays with a super high motor. East up rebounds. Deflects and alters shots. Scores from the perimeter an inside. Runs the floor like a deer. He averaged 3-4 dunks a game. Has a nice handle on the ball and utilizes ball fakes, triple threat moves, and euro steps. He would be a solid grab for a D1 low major/D2 program and a steal for a D3/JuCo/NAIA school.
