College Coaches definitely need to get there eyes on these prospect when looking for a next level shooter. This is not a ranking nor is listed in order of the best shooter.
Cameron Ward 6’3 SG / Columbia HS {TX} / 2020 / D1 Prospects
Cam is not just a good shooter from deep, but he is also a top QB recruit from the state of Texas. You can see his marksmanship skill from the QB position to the shooting guard position. Has a nice body frame and uses his physicality to his advantage when shooting. Don’t leave this prospect open he will light you up. Plays well off the ball in the catch and shoot role. He also has a good handle on the ball and can take defenders to the cup. Would be a solid pickup for any D2/D3/NAIA Basketball Program.
Nash Glaszewski 6’5 SG / The Woodlans Christian Academy {TX} / 2020 / FYN All-Stars
Nash is another lights out shooter that you want to know where he is at all times on the floor. He moves well without the ball in his hands. Even though he is a big-time three-point specialist. You still have to respect his game overall. He knocks down shots off the dribble from the mid-range as well. He was one of the better perimeter players in the tournament. Has good size and can dunk the ball also. He would be a solid addition to a D2/D3/NAIA program.
Easton Hunter 6’3 SG / Andale HS {KS} / 2020 / NLHA-Gaddis
He was a known shooter on the circuit real quick. Has a good jumper with a quick release. He also has a quick first step to take opponents off the dribble. He was knocking down tightly contested trey balls. Moves great without the ball. He is a great catch and shoot player. Even put the ball on the ground for a one, two dribble pull up over defenders. He shoots smart shots and doesn’t get rattled under pressure. He is a prospect who is just excited to be on the floor. Good team player even was vocal from the bench. Solid pick up for any school at these levels D1 mid-low major/D2 programs.
Peyton Westfall 6’2 SG / Pine Creek HS {CO} / 2020 / P.L.U.T.O. Prospects
A solid prospect that can shoot the ball from deep. NBA range deep. He hit multiple 23 footers over defenders. He also took defenders to the rack and even tried to put a defender in the rim. Has a decent handle on the ball. Ran the point for the most part for his team. Decent facilitating skills, but he relied heavily on his ability to knock down the deep ball to get him and his teammates going. Would like to see his progression over the circuit this Spring/Summer. Would fit in at a D2/D3/NAIA school.
Ethan Scott 5’10 PG / Westmoore HS {OK} / 2022 / Team Buddy Buckets 16U
This young prospect who plays up, on the 16U level is a shooter. He is a point guard but his strength is shooting the ball. He was knocking down really deep balls. Small quick guard that was able to get to the lane and knock down some floaters also. Off-ball screens is where this young prospect thrived this weekend. He hangs out around the perimeter a lot but I understand why. Has multiple speeds with the ball in his hands but his dribble pull-ups from deep are deadly. I expect this young prospect to start to pick up interest this Spring/Summer playing up.
