17U:
• Jacoby Brown (D1 Houston / 6’2 G): The junior guard showed knockdown shooting ability, that he has in his bag. Also, in transition he fills lanes correctly, that really gives his team a great chance to capitalize. Moves around the perimeter well, where open looks are a common outcome.
• Rayleen Bell (D1 prospects / 5’7”): Bell is a quick – shifts guard, that accelerates up and down the court very well, changing speeds. Can finish with either hand in traffic, and has the ability to jump a passing lane on the defensive end.
•D’Vonshai Harden (Kansas Hoggs / 6’2”): The junior is undersized in terms of height for the wing position, but he plays the position well with his build. As a defender he moves his feet well and is on his guy like glue. In the halfcourt, he can handle the ball a bit as well. Harden is a versatile wing-guard.
• Elijias Watson (Kansas hoggs / 5’11): One of the more athletic players I seen on the day. Has the ability to drive through the lane, hang in the air – and finish acrobatically. Also, a distributor for his team, often off the drive and corner kick.
• Mason Matteson (H&H Elite / 5’11): Mason Matteson displayed the ability to create his own shot Saturday. The dribble to the left, mid range pull up was a good combo by the junior. Also, one of a few capable ball handlers for H&H Elite.
