Here is a look at the key players for Arsenal Hoops:
Adam Sommer 6’3″ Parkway South: Tough combo guard who had a very productive weekend shooting the basketball. Had a couple of outings where he scored at least 20 points. Handled the ball well and knocked down several 3-pointers over the weekend.
Sam Richardson 6’5″ Hancock: A newcomer to the team who adds talent and versatility on the perimeter. He has the ability to score inside in the post, slash to the basket or knock down perimeter jumpers. He is also a very good rebounder with the aility to defend.
Frazier Ott 6’8″ Chaminade: A very solid post player with good fundamentals and the ability to get inside buckets. He has good footwork and a nice shooting touch around the basket.
Devon Barshow 6’6″ Marquette: A slim, yet talented wing player who can play all three perimeter positions comfortably. He is a smooth ball handler with the ability to knock down 3-pointers. He has continued to grow and improve over the past two years.
Sofara Rasas 6’4″ St. Mary’s: A slashing wing player who is outstanding in the transition game, where he is an excellent finisher on the break. The lefty is active and can get to the basket on the bounce.
Sylvon Mosley 6’4″ McCluer North: An all-purpose wing player who played with a lot of energy and a high motor throughout the weekend. He is an excellent defender who will also crash the boards and get out in transition to get buckets.
Isaiah Esker 6’10” Parkway South: A much improved big post player who is starting to come into his own. He is an old-school low post threat who will get position, catch the ball and finish with a strong drop step move.
Michael Skoff 6’4″ DeSmet: A tough and rugged combo forward who doesn’t mind mixing it up in the paint. He is a versatile player who can shoot it and pass it well to make plays for others.
Kyle Geraghty 6’0″ Parkway West: A very sound point guard who knows how to play his position and he does it well. He is strong with the ball and he gets it in the right hands at the right time. He can get to the basket where he can knock down short jumpers and drop dimes.
Ryan Campbell 6’3″ Lafayette: A solid shooting guard prospect who has the ability to knock down 3-pointers on a consistent basis. He will handle the ball and make good decisions as well.
Chris Hill 6’3″ Brentwood: A small-school standout who was among the scoring leaders in the St. Louis area as a junior. Hasa good opportunity to make a name for himself on the grassroots circuit.
