Leonard Williams has a old-school style of a game. Williams a lefty plays for Head Coach Ryan Walker at Laurens HS. Williams is a blue collar kid who just brings a great attitude and work ethic every time he touches the floor.
Zyan Gilmore and Traveon Davis helped the Saints to a SCISA Class 1A State Championship this season and a (29-0) record. Davis 6’5 averaged 20.3 ppg this season after coming over from nearby Lake Marion HS while Gilmore averaged 20.1 ppg. Gilmore eclipsed 1,000 career points this past season.
Ben Jones we first saw a few years back playing with GSP Unified.at the Ashton Arnold Tourney. Jones connected on some perimeter jumpers today and kept the defense honest with his outside shooting.
Nijheer Holmes was a very pleasant surprise to watch at the Ashton Arnold Tourney. Holmes plays at a very small school which doesn’t belong to the SCHSL or SCISAA ranks. Holmes 6’7 has very nimble footwork in the paint and keeps the ball up high. Holmes has the ability to rebound the ball on both ends of the floor. Holmes started off his high school career at Hillcrest HS but wasn’t eligible due to academics.
