This spring and summer will be great opportunities to start fine tuning their crafts. Look for these guys to turn some heads and to continue making a name for themselves.
Knute Wood (Nike Elite Stars)- Looks are deceiving. This kid is a prospect to seriously watch. He’s around 6’3 already and plays with a very high IQ. Knute is deceptively athletic and can play all 3 perimeter spots. He has also shown the ability to score at all 3 levels.
Calen Lightford (Team Carroll)- Lightford can go. This is a kid I would want on my team. He has a very solid stroke, and the point guard can make plays off the bounce. Don’t let his size fool you, because Lightford will make you pay as soon as he hits the floor.
Jamarion Ryans (Alabama Celtics)- This point guard puts on a show. Ryans can score at all 3 levels, but he is at his best attacking to set up his teammates. This kid is a double double waiting to happen. Improving how he plays without the basketball is going to be huge for this 2022 prospect.
Josh Price (Hawks Elite)- This kid is mighty mouse in the flesh! Price has a super tight handle and a good burst. Yeah the point guard is only 5’8, but he will give you buckets. Price has very good vision and can make plays off the bounce. He has the potential to develop into the best point guard prospect in the class.
Caden Brown (Auburn Raptors)- Brown is a 6’5 forward with very soft hands and good vision. His footwork is not bad. The best thing for this kid is to get more game experience. Becoming stronger and more athletic are going to help Brown grow leaps and bounds.
