As the grassroots’ season continues, we will take a look at the best performances from the weekend. This weekend, we saw some very special performances. Watching these athletes compete at high levels is truly amazing. Take a look at the 2021 class’ best from this weekend.
Brody Peebles (Pro One)- This kid is special. Peebles is a CG that can do it all. The game just comes so naturally to him. He is a 3 level scorer with a super smooth offensive game. This weekend, we witnessed Peebles go for 43… 32 in the second half. When this kid gets hot…. watch out.
Dylan Glover (Dothan Wolverines)- The 6’2 guard was unstoppable this weekend. Glover is super quick and shows off plenty of range. He is an underrated playmaker and rebounder. Glover’s best performance this weekend was a 38-6-7 game.
Bo Barber (Hawks Elite)- This kid has a burner. The PG showed why he is regarded as one of the best shooters in the class. His mechanics are so smooth. The kid shoots the same shot every single time. Barber’s top performance was a 32 point guard, where he connected on 7 threes.
AJ Harris (Bama Kings)- Harris has really good size (6’4) and ability on the perimeter. This kid attacks the rim and paint relentlessly. He rebounds extremely well. The wing showed the ability to guard multiple positions. Harris’ best performance was 27 points and 9 rebounds. The more consistent AJ becomes, the harder he will be to guard.
Jordan Eggleston (Team RSK)- Down by double digits, Eggleston stepped up in a big way for his team. He caught fire in the second half and scored from all over the court. Jordan finished with 21 points and 4 rebounds, and the wing lead his team to a come from behind victory.
