Brennan Lovette 6’4″ Knights Basketball Academy: The versatile performer was the MVP of the 15U tournament after leading his team to the championship. He is a matchup problem with his ability to score in the paint against smalls or operate on the perimeter with his ability to knock down jumpers, handle the ball and facilitate the offense. He plays with a lot of poise and confidence. Attends DeSmet.
Jimmy Lansing 6’7″ Gateway: A big bodied post player at 240 pounds who is also an excellent prospect on the football field. He uses his size well around the basket to get position and get buckets with a soft shooting touch inside. He has solid fundamentals in the post. Attends Chaminade.
Austin Vick 6’7″ Knights Basketball Academy: A solid big bodied post player who helped his team win the 15U championship. He has a versatile skill set which serves him well as a scorer and a passer. He has a nice shooting touch around the basket and he can also step out and hit the 15 footer. He keeps the ball up high on the offensive rebound well and scores on very effective put backs. Attends Westminster.
Robert Lewis 6’7″ Team Ramey CCM: A long slender post player who is still in the developmental stages, but he has a chance to be an excellent prospect down the road. He plays inside for his team, but he is very comfortable on the court with the ball in his hands. He runs the court well and he is a very effective shot blocker. Attends Cardinal Ritter.
Nick Wasilewski 6’5″ Gateway: A bouncy young power forward who plays the game with a lot of zest and energy. Had the most impressive sequence I witnessed all weekend when he blocked a shot at the rim, then ran the length on the court and caught a pass and dunked it on somebody. It was nice. He is still a young pup, but I like his potential and upside. Attends Jackson.
