Traylon Willis-Shaw, 6-7 200, F, 2020, Team Wall 17U – Pictured above.
This lean young forward combo forward is a an agile athlete, with good offensive skills, a nose for the basketball on the boards and good ability on the defensive end of the court. Traylon has a solid mid-range jumper, plus he has the ability to drive it on bigger men, as well as the ability to post smaller forwards. Traylon gets to play on the perimeter in high school, also for his veteran coach, George Stackhouse.
Evan Joyner, 6-6 170, G/F, 2020, Garner Road 17U
This lean young man is a versatile basketball player, with the ability to defend all three perimeter positions thanks to to quick feet, long arms and good determination. Evan has excellent speed and he uses it well. One might see Evan grad a defensive rebound and push the ball to the offensive end and make a play, displaying good court vision and passing skills. His mid-range J is solid and he drives it well. Evan’s father Jay is the head coach at North Carolina A&T.
Joshua Reid, 6-5 190, SF, Team Wall 17U
This versatile forward, who plays his high school basketball at Word Of God Christian Academy in Raleigh, is a good athlete, who has a good all around game. He’s not necessarily a flashy player, but he has a solid mid-range stroke and he finishes at the rim, through contact. He is a good rebounder and a solid defender, who plays with good intensity.
Jeremiah Dickerson, 6-5 175, SF, Garner Road 17U
Jeremiah is a glue guy, who comes with intensity on the boards and on defense. He’s all business, with good focus. He also runs the court really well and he finishes well, especially in transition. He also drives it well in half-court situations and he is a willing passer.
