Dustin Beauprey – 2021 – PG – Wisconsin Crusaders
We only saw Beauprey once last summer, but he looked like a real hidden gem. Beauprey plays at a small school, Mountain Top Christian, where put up around 38 points per game. A high scoring lead guard with a killer instinct, Beauprey is very skilled on the ball, able to hit shots from all over the floor and create scoring opportunities for others. We currently have him at No. 38 in the 2021 class, but wouldn’t be surprised if Beauprey establishes himself as a top 25 prospect.
Drew Biber – 2021 – SF – Phenom University
A blue-collar, hard-working prospect, Biber is going to play in the EYBL this spring. As a sophomore, Biber led Cedarburg in scoring at 18.2 points per game. He’ll likely be an energy player for Phenom University, but if the 6-foot-4 wing can do other things outside of hustle plays consistently against top level athletes, he’ll certainly rise from his No. 60 spot.
Alex Leach – 2020 – PF – Wisconsin Surge
Leach is very intriguing, which gives him potential to move up from No. 56 in the 2020 rankings. A big body that moves well and can shoot the ball a little bit, Leach was a key part of Brookfield Academy’s 20-6 squad last season. The 6-foot-7 junior has plenty of upside and we’ll see if he takes another step or two in his development over the next 4-5 months.
Riley Murphy – 2020 – G – Wisconsin Crusaders
The way Murphy can shoot the ball, you have to overlook his size. At No. 63 in the class of 2020 rankings, Murphy is showing he can still put up big numbers on the AAU circuit, having improved his quickness with and without the ball and extending his range well beyond the 3-point arc. The Seymour standout averaged 17.0 points per game as a junior and after some limited showings this spring, Murphy seems to be underrated by us.
Collin Schaefer – 2020 – PG – Wisconsin Swing
Schaefer returned from injury late in the season to help Sun Prairie reach the Division 1 state title game. The junior floor general has looked really good early in the spring against some top level competition. Schaeffer is ranked a very respectable 37th in the 2020 rankings, but he continues to elevate his game against Division 1 players. A skilled floor general who can completely control the game, Schaefer plays at a very good pace and has the ability to take over games offensively.
