Daniel Ransom is running with Coach Jeff McInnis this spring and he played really well at Proehlific Park last weekend. Daniel is a very good all around basketball player, who defends and rebounds, but who also can score the basketball. Even though he scores, defends and rebounds really well, what really makes Daniel a special player is the fact that he in constant motion and he plays very hard.
Max Rogers, a 6-3 175, 2G, from Tuscola High School in Waynesville, is running with Team Winston this spring. He played well last weekend, displaying a good shooting touch from the arc and playing good all around basketball. He’s a savvy player, who in addition to shooting well, he also is a good passer and he plays aggressively on the defensive end.
Micah Gainey, a 6-2 guard from Glenn High School in Kernersville, is a solid basketball player and a coach’s son. He shoots it well and he plays good defense, thanks to good speed and aggressiveness. Micah is running with Team Winston 17U this spring and he played well last weekend.
Trayden WilliamsTrayden Williams, a 6-0 175, guard from Charlotte He’s running with Team Charlotte this spring. Trayden is a solid all around guard. He’s one of the best mid range shooters around and he plays good defense. He’s a heady guard, who can play either guard position at this level. He’ll need to play the point in college and he will be able to make that transition, thanks to a solid skills and a good feel for the game.
Kevon Dearman is a 5-10 170, point guard from Lexington High School in Lexington, North Carolina. He started at the point for Team Winston 17U last weekend, when I saw the team playing and he did a solid job for his team. He has really good quickness and a good handle, plus he plays under control. He is also a solid shooter and he pressures the ball really well on the defensive end.
