Five Emerging Prospects from Proehlific Park

David Murphy, pictured above, is a 6-1 170, junior guard at Rolesville High School, who played really well Saturday and Sunday for NC Empire, a team based in the Raleigh, Durham area. His composure on the court really impressed me as he played under control. He displayed solid handles and he played unselfishly. He also shot the basketball well and he defended aggressively.

Jakob Moore is an athletic 6-8 225, big man in the class of 2020 at Mount Tabor High School in Winston-Salem. Two years ago, he was a football player who played basketball. Now the big lefty is a bouncy shot-blocker and a very good rebounder. He also has a budding low post game and an improved stroke from the high post.

Jay Mitchell is an athletic 6-3 180, wing at West Forsyth High School in Clemmons. He played some point guard this year in high school, which was a good experience for him, but I feel that he is best suited to play on the wing, where he can utilize his athleticism. He's a solid shooter, especially from mid-range and he's a a very good defender
