Dinwiddie are two standouts from the respective Southland Classes of 2020 and ’21 and were teammates at Culver City High during the 2017-18 season.
Belmont Shore was also bolstered by the addition of powerful low-post presence Bradley Ezewiro (pictured), the 6-foot-8 junior at Bishop Montgomery in Torrance who will play with the Oakland Soldiers when EYBL spring competition begins next week in Atlanta.
Among the other 23 teams in the division is EYBL program Las Vegas Elite.
That squad figures to be among the most “perimeter potent” on the EYBL circuit behind the likes of Lakewood Mayfair’s Josh Christopher (heavily recruited out of the Class of 2020) and Las Vegas-area players Julian Strawther of Liberty (who committed to Gonzaga early Thursday on his 17th birthday), Noah Taitz (Bishop Gorman) and one of the nation’s best prospects from the Class of 2021, Jaden Hardy (Coronado).
Competition resumes Friday (there are also 16s and 15s divisions) and wraps up Saturday afternoon.
