For this 17’s Chaos team it will be the guard play that makes them the biggest threat. With players like Zion Ruckard and Taylor Harris running the show as primary ball handlers it is going to be difficult for teams to run with this team. Ruckard is a floor manager that runs the offense well and gets things done. Harris is a hard-nose player that has a great feel for the game and is a creator in the offense. He knows what shots work for him and how to keep the defense on their heels. Another tough cover will be Trevon Deden. Deden didn’t have the season many expected him to have so this will be a big summer for him to prove that he can still put the ball in the basket in multiple ways and is a tough cover every time out. The best player on this team is standout big man Caleb McGill. McGill’s presence in the paint is game changing on both ends of the floor. The fast-paced game enables him to get the ball off the rim and start the break which tends to catch teams off guard. He can put the ball on the floor and is dominant in the paint. With so much focus centered around McGill, Harris and Ruckard the player that will benefit most and not surprise me as being the leading scorer for a talented bunch is A.J. LaCabe. if he is able to bring the same energy he did all season long offensively this is going to be a group ready to make some noise that can win a few tournaments.X-Factors: Caleb Ruter and Cole Bott
Players to watch: C.J Thomas and David McKean
Colorado Chaos 2020Coach- Rolando Davila

#10 Diallo Thompson- Mullen 2020
#11 Blake Schell- Green Mountain 2020

#25 Will McClurg- Heritage 2020
#32 Jackson Bond- Mullen 2020
#33 Jayson Luzaradio- Green Mountain 2020This team is bit of a wildcard as when they are on they are going to be a team that not many teams in the state are going to be able to handle. They have all of the necessary pieces to be a great team and when it all comes together, watch out. One of the most intriguing players on this roster has to Elijah Thatch. Thatch is a bit of a mystery as it is difficult to see him impact with him attending DSST Byers but the kid can flat out play. He has a smooth offensive game and is a great defender that had a whopping 3.5 steals a game this season. Combine that with the defense and rebounding ability of Jayson Luzaradio in the paint and this team will be tough team to score on that will have some blowout wins.
X-Factors: Tommy Crawford and Calvin Wing

#40 Ben Bowen- Mountain Vista 2021
This team just opens your eyes to how deep the Class of 2021 really is. This is a really talented team that will not have many of the state’s top players but is assembled to win. On a team like this any player is capable of having a break out summer and my pick of players to really take a deeper look at is Ben Bowen and Skylar Wilson. Bowen had a great year on a team that went all the way to the final 4 this past season with him giving his own contribution in any way that he could. With a solid year under his belt now is the time for him to create his own buzz and feed off of it as the summer progresses. I am looking forward to seeing him create for himself and others as he is a player that is growing and his game is also improving.
