There are many players that were not included on these recaps that are still deserving of recognition. The following players got my attention in different ways and deserve to be recognized as top performers from last Sunday’s games.
Cade Crawford (2021) Carey- Extreme Heat
A scrappy guard, Crawford hustles on the defensive end and made plays consistently.
Mike Grant (2020) Walnut Hills- Ohio Players
An athletic guard that found ways to get in the paint with ease.
Cam McCreary (2020) Upper Sandusky – Mid Ohio Pumas- Justice
One of the better ball handlers on display.
Carson Conley (2020) Licking Valley– Mid Ohio Pumas- Justice
Very good post defense and got after rebounds. I liked his ability to attack on the dribble drive.
Jake Johnson (2020) Oldenburg- Indiana Legends 2020
One of the best shooters on display, especially off the dribble. Moves well without the ball and gets open shots.
Bailey Conrad (2020) Christian Academy- Indiana Legends 2020
Aggressive player on the drive. Gets up and defends the ball at the rim.
Taron Carter (2020) Southfield Christian- Tranzition
One of the better athletes on the floor and plays great defense.
Zac Jennings (2020) Cooper- Kentucky Select
Bigger 3 guard. Tough rebounder that isn’t afraid to play physical with bigger opponents.
Curtis Harrison (2020) Seven Hills- Apex 17U Gold
A long and lengthy SF that moves well and finds ways to get open.
Cooper Justice (2020) Butler-
Shining Star

Very good at distributing the ball, and scores inside. Hustles on both ends of the floor.
Drew Thompson (2020) Centerville-
Shining Star

Gets the ball inside and plays well on the perimeter and interior.
Micah Thomas (2020) Princeton- Apex 17U Silver
A tough player on both ends of the floor, has some serious bounce.
Andre O’Daniel (2020) Fairmont- Apex 17U Silver
Handled the basketball very well.
Jordan Gross (2020) Campbell County- One Vision Academy
Very good on-the-ball defender, possesses the ball well.
Marcus Steele (2020) Solon – SMAC Attack Campbell
Good ball handler, sees the floor and looks to pass first.
Carter Mims (2021) Trotwood-Madison- Team Flyght
Super quick guard, Quick crossover and explosive first step.
Isaiah Alsip (2020) Galion- Mid Ohio Magic
Has the green light to shoot from anywhere. Knocked down midrange jump shots with ease.
Conor Stolly (2020) Alter-

By far one of the tallest players on display, but showed his versatility and ability to knock down shots outside of the paint.
Shemar Watson () – Columbus 101
Aggressive point guard that pushed the tempo and runs the floor well, especially in transition.
A.J. Garrett (2019) Purcell Marian- Club Ohio
Bouncy player, can score inside and out and a solid perimeter defender. One of the top unsigned 2019 prospects.
Nate Staib (2020) Gahanna Lincoln – Mid Ohio Pumas-Staib
Very good ball-handler that plays aggressive and looks to attack off the dribble drive.
Jackie Santa-Emma (2020) Jonathan Alder- Mid Ohio Pumas- Staib
Patient guard, looks to pass the ball before scoring himself.
