Ben Jones
Ben Jones (2020) – Greenville HS – Team South Carolina Red
Jones was consistent all night long with his shot. Jones connected on three pointers and some mid-range jumpers. Jones was always shot ready to receive the ball.
Nijheer Holmes
Nijheer Holmes (2020) – Fountain Inn Christian – Team South Carolina Red
Holmes 6’7 is a new one for Prep Hoops. Holmes started off his career at Hillcrest HS before going over to Fountain Inn Christian. Holmes runs the floor very well and plays very active on both ends of the floor. Holmes averaged around 19 ppg this season at Fountain Inn Christian. Holmes played with his back to the basket and still seems to be learning the game.
Leonard Williams
Leonard Williams (2020) – Laurens HS – Team South Carolina Red
Williams a left-handed forward has a bit of a old school type game. Williams shoots a set shot and has the ability to play side-out on the floor.
Traveon Davis (2020) and Zyan Gilmore (2020) – Clarendon Hall (Summerton) – Team South Carolina Red
The Saints duo showed up for the 2nd half after a schedule change at the last minute. Davis and Gilmore will see plenty of playing time on this squad headed into the Grassroots season.
George Ford (2021) – Mauldin HS – CPA Longhorns (pictured on front)
Ford was a fearless minded player for the Longhorns. Ford plays running back and strong safety for the Mavericks. Ford really enjoyed taking the ball to the rack and went to the foul line on several occasions. Ford really liked playing the game on contact. Ford is quick when turning the corner with the ball.
