Usually the Jordan Brand Classic is played in Brooklyn, New York at the Barcalay’s Center, home of the NBA’s Brooklyn Nets, but this year, the venue has now been moved to Las Vegas, Nevada and will be played at the T-Mobile Arena.
Georgia will be represented for the first time since Collin Sexton in the 2017 Jordan Brand Classic. Georgia commit SG Anthony Edwards of Holy Spirit Prep will be representing the peach state in this year’s showcase game in Las Vegas. Edwards averaged 26.7 points per game, 8.7 rebounds per game, 2.5 assists per game, and 2.1 steals per game in his senior season.
Edwards is one of the nations most exciting players in the 2019 class and after missing out and not being selected for the 2019 Nike Hoop Summit, he will for sure put on a show in Las Vegas as he did in Atlanta during the McDonald’s All American Game festivities.
