Adam O’Dell – 6’6 C 2021 – South Bend St. Joseph (IN) / Indiana Ice 2021
Adam looked really good in this game. He was elevating quite a bit better than we have seen him in the past and you noticed it a ton of the defensive end as he was looking to stuff driving players all game long. Even had a great one against a 6’5 forward with length. He also played with a ton of energy and was always active and trying to make plays. I do wonder about how he will develop as a perimeter defender and if he will be able to come out and hedge against smaller prospects down the road. But, he’s starting to prove he can be a really quality post defender in his sophomore season.
Chris Gunn – 6’4 SF 2022 – Hamilton Southeastern (IN) / EG10 2022
Gunn is a big wing with a ton of length and plenty of upside. He showed off his shooting in the second half and has a nice release and touch on the jumper when in rhythm. Can handle the ball to pull-up in the mid-range but he wasn’t quite a on in that one. However, you can see the potential with the skill and the frame. Needs a little weight but could be a guy that develops very quickly into a top of the class prospect.
Larry Pierce – 6’4 SF 2022 – University (IN) / EG10 2022
Pierce is a big wing with handles that could keep him down the lineup and more as a guard. He’s big and a frame that will fill out great in the coming years. He is very strong now and you can see that at times, a little on defense and also in his willingness to rebound. He has a decent looking jumper, a little slow on the release but high and very structured that should develop over time.
Ryan Conwell – 6’0 PG 2022 – Indianapolis Pike (IN) / EG10 2022
Conwell is a really tough guard that should stay not he point and seems built to be a floor leader. Good touch on his jumper. A lefty, he should be able to really produce for behind the arc with time.
Jahmad Harmon – 5’9 PG 2022 – Lawrence Central (IN) / EG10 2022
Jahmad is a creative point guard that has some offensive tools. Really well versed in the ability to drive and showed that he can get to the rim but if needed, he can pull-up well off the bounce. He’s good in transition and should be a guy that can create a ton of offense by turning guys over with his pressure.
Rasheed Jones – 6’4 SF 2022 – Marion (IN) / Indiana Elite Central 2022
Rasheed is a long, lean wing that has shown better handles here than in high school. More willing to bring the ball up and make some plays. But, he’s best off the ball where he can catch and shoot. Really smooth jumper and can hit a ton of them if you feed him. He looked to drive a couple times and had some success. His length is a great advantage to him and he will use a little floater to help as he’s not the quickest yet with the ball in his hands.
Julian Norris – 6’3 SG 2022 – Evansville Bosse (IN) / Indiana Elite Central 2022
Julian is a big guard who has a great jumper and tons of athletic ability. He’s quick and long and showed this weekend that he can really create problems for an offense as he uses his length to his advantage. He’s best as a shooter off the catch but was willing to use the pull-up at times. The ball handling is solid enough right now for a wing shooter. Will want to see if he can turn that into a breakdown skill on the wing but he has time.
Peter Suder – 6’3 SG 2022 – Carmel (IN) / Indiana Elite 2022
Peter continues to prove he’s the most skilled and sound player in the class. He’s always high-energy and loves to make plays for his teammates. Saw him diving on the ground for loose balls where he can go the extra mile. He did look much more engaged looking to score which wasn’t something he did a ton in high school. This will be great to see because he has a wide array of options with his handles and touch shooting the ball at times.
Nick Klaiber – 6’0 PG 2022 – Bloomington North (IN) / Indiana Elite 2022
Nick is a tough lead guard with the handles to keep his turnovers low. He looks more like a north and south driver, trying to use his speed and size to his advantage. Showed a little bit with his toughness in the lane in the early part of the game.
Max Sullivan – 6’5 SF 2022 – Whiteland (IN) / Indiana Elite 2022
Max looks more and more like a wing each time we see him. He’s big and has strong lower half but he’s so adept at getting around and finding a way to be in the right spot, when you pair that with his shooting, he makes sense at worst as a stretch forward. But, if he can showed the ability to post up and use his body more in that regard where he’s such a difficult matchup, that might end up as his highest upside. He will look to post up a bit but not enough yet to really be that true inside-out player.
Keon Thompson – 6’0 PG 2021 – Merrillville (IN) / Indiana Elite 2021
Keon is a big, bruising guard who seemed to control the game pretty well. He’s quite well suited to play on the ball and is more of a drive first type guard and rightfully so as he’s so tough to slow down. Has some quickness with his size and is solid laterally so he has some upside on the defensive end. Didn’t show a ton of offense but looks like the pieces are all there. He’s got some interesting ability that could really develop into something quickly here.
Drew Hogan – 5’9 PG 2022 – Goshen (IN) / MBA Select 2022
Hogan is a strong lead guard who looks like he has bulked up pretty quickly here. He’s physically ahead of most his age and showed that he has the handles to stick on the point. Did see him struggle at times against pressure defense, will need to cut that down but I think he’s going to be good on the ball long-term. Could see a lot of early success but will be interested to see how he developed in his junior and senior year. He has some breakdown ability to him and while I didn’t see him shoot much, the skill should be there to create off the bounce.
