College coaches won’t have as much time this year as in the past so we are here to breakdown the talent in the upcoming senior class. Today, we are looking at the top rebounders in the class.
Jacob Brown – 6’6 PF Connersville (IN) – Indiana Legends 2020
Jordan Walters – 6’7 PF Harrison (IN) – Indiana Ice 2020
Noah Hupmann – 7’0 C Evansville Day (IN) – DistinXion 2020
Damon Ogletree – 6’6 PF Cardinal Ritter (IN) – N/A
Jeff Langston Jr. – 6’8 PF Fort Wayne South (IN) – Indy Heat Red 2020
Kevin Figg – 6’4 PF Sullivan (IN) – Southwest Rebels 2020
Dawson Eastes – 6’5 PF New Palestine (IN) – Indiana Elite East 2020
Dillon Ware – 6’5 PF Danville (IN) – GPP 2020 Red
Thoughts: Where 2020 really lacks is with size. So, we have a very small list of rebounders in our post positions. But a few guys stand out even still. Guys like Damon Ogletree, Noah Hupmann, and Kevin Figg. Ogletree is a developing post with a ton of length who can just reach over the top to get the board. Hupmann is a 7-footer who has the size advantage, and Figg is undersized but so quick and physical that he wins most matchups.
A couple of the more coveted names will be Dillon Ware and Dawson Eastes. Ware is really mobile and athletic and can impact the game with his length as well. Eastes is a bigger 6’5 forward who tracks the ball very well and can beat other bigs to the ball.
This is the position that hopefully will also have some development shine through this spring so if things are going to change and develop, this is where it will be.
