The 2020 class has attacked the spring season head on. These guys have been putting on shows. Athletes are starting to separate themselves from the pack, and other kids are starting to have big time breakthroughs. Check out the 2020 April Stock Risers.
Tommy Murr (Alabama Fusion)- The biggest question for Murr was how well his game translates against top tier talent and athletes. This kid’s performances have put everyone on notice. He can give buckets to anyone, anytime, anywhere, but Tommy is more than a scorer. He plays well without the ball and has excellent vision.
Mark Sears (Alabama Fusion)- People may like guards with more size, but Sears is becoming the best PG prospect in the state. This kid can score at all 3 levels and is hard to keep out of the paint. Sears has some wiggle, and he stays in control. He has shown that he can play against any other point guards.
Jalen Myers (Team Carroll)- Myers is an intriguing prospect. He is super long, athletic, and versatile. He has shown the ability to knock down shots, play above the rim, and the 6’7 wing has rebounded very well. Myers could play both forward spots for Team Carroll, but the kid looks way more comfortable playing on the perimeter.
Shannon Grant (Alabama Celtics)- Grant is getting a lot of positive press for his play. This kid is a monster. Grant is a legit 6’10 270. Right now, the post is playing in time increments, but Grant is showing why he could become the best big in the class. He has soft hands, embraces contact, and is hard to keep off the glass. The more Grant improves his body and plays…. the better he will become.
Cole Larue (Hawks Elite)- Larue is another big to have eyes on. He has a solid mixture of size and skill. The 6’8 big can stretch the floor from 3, and he has shown the ability to make plays off the bounce. Larue is very active on the boards as well. He is starting to receive notice from MM coaches.
Chance Beard (Birmingham Thunder)- Beard is a work horse. He’s an active defender and an active rebounder. Beard is undersized at the 4, but his motor and athleticism make him a mismatch. LM schools and high academic schools have Chance on their radar. Don’t miss out on this kid.
