The 2019 class is also still picking up offers and making noise as their high school days come to a close. Some 2019 players have taken the opportunity to play AAU in hopes of gaining more offers. Again, shoutout to the Bama Mixtape group for their unsigned senior event. Every year coaches from multiple levels attend this event and find hidden talent in the state.
Ty Millin (TSF)- The 6’5 swingman has committed to Middle Tennessee. Millin is long, athletic, and has improved his offensive game. Great pickup by Middle.
Cameron Tucker (Wenonah)- The 6’1-6’2 5A POY has committed to Alabama A&M. The Bulldogs are picking up one of the best point guards in the 2019 class and a surefire winner.
JaLon Johnson (Hillcrest-Tuscaloosa)- The 2019 PG has signed with Shelton State CC. JaLon is a great get for Coach Eatmon. The kid has a great mixture of skill and athleticism.
Dee Pearson (Gasden City)- Pearson has chosen to attend Bristol Prep Academy. The 6’1 PG is a bulldog. Reclassifying to 2020 may give more opportunity to play at the D1 level.
Jordan O’Neal (Theodore)- The 2019 hybrid forward has officially signed with Coahoma CC (Ms). O’Neal brings a high motor and a lot of athleticism to the court. Coahoma CC has been recruiting Alabama hard of late.
Jabez Sims (Greenville)- The 6’3 perimeter player has signed with Wallace State-Selma. Sims is athletic and has the chops to guard all 3 perimeter spots.
Theron Montgomery (Anniston)- Marion Military has offered the 6’7 PF. Theron is raw offensively, but with the right coaching staff, he will develop nicely at the next level.
Austin Kelley (Pleasant Home)- The 6’7 F has benefited from playing AAU this spring. He holds several D2, NAIA, and JUCO offers. Kelley is very skilled and a high academic student.
Luke Reavis (Madison Academy)- The 6’1 CG has committed to Florida College. Reavis is a high IQ player and very good shooter.
