The Prep Hoops Circuit is full of talented teams ready to make their mark.  Last weekend Dallas Showtyme, Team Buddy Buckets, and KC Black left Oklahoma with earned respect.

Dallas Showtyme Elite.  Brian “BJ” Francis and Abraham Shorter look like a fantastic backcourt while Sadadriene Hall and Sherman Brashear are playmakers on the wing. Defense won gold in LA two weeks back and defense won gold in Oklahoma with Showtyme locking up everybody.  Showtyme has won their first 11 games of the season and took home weekend gold. Take notice of this group, they are off to a fantastic 17u season start and big things could be ahead!

Team Buddy Buckets Elite.  The Oklahoma squad finished in the title game led by lead guard Kendural Jolly controlling pace as well as anybody at the 17u event. One of Jolly’s key targets was 6-foot-8 power forward Sam Goodwin.  Goodwin is a long prospect with good athleticism.  The rest of the 17u season Team Buddy Buckets is one you should hope isn’t an early round opponent.

Team KC Black.  A final four finish to start the year is exactly the type of thing that Team KC was looking for.  Six-foot-8 Jarrett Hensley is a high motor player that runs the floor well, hit some threes, and threw the ball down explosively several times. Had a pair of near 30 point games and is always active.  Robbed off on his team.

All Arkansas Red. Dangerous wing pair led the way with Carlos Miller knocking out shots consistently at the arc and handling the basketball.  High IQ, high character player and one of the key players that Miller looked for consistently was 6-foot-4 wing Freddy Hicks.  All Arkansas Red have the steam and now are ready to make a mark in upcoming events.

Texas Impact 4:13. Impact won four of five games with a frontcourt led by versatile forward Micaiah Abii as well as 6-foot-10 talented center Jonathan Aku and 6-foot-8 center Jacob Stuckey.  Aku is a double figure high major offer talent (Miami, Georgetown, LSU, TCU, and more) who consistently worked to position and scored in deep position.
