11 In-State Players to Watch at Hard Work Live
The Prep Hoops Circuit carries on from Madison this weekend with Hard Work Live. Many of Wisconsin’s top AAU clubs and players will be in attendance and college coaches make their way to the Madison area which will feature three days of quality hoops action…
Dustin Beauprey – Wisconsin Crusaders
A top performer on the Prep Hoops Circuit last week, Beauprey is one of the best-kept secrets in Wisconsin. . Beauprey plays at a small school, Mountain Top Christian, where he put up around 38 points per game. A high scoring lead guard with a killer instinct, Beauprey is very skilled on the ball, able to hit shots from all over the floor and create scoring opportunities for others.
Terryon Brumby – 2022 – G – Wisconsin Rise/ World Hoops Elite
A top 10 prospect in the 2022 class, Brumby had a fantastic freshman season at Racine Case. Brumby put up 11.4 points and 2.2 assists per game on a very deep and talented lineup.
Keaton Ferris – 2020 – G – Wisconsin Crusaders
Ferris is certainly a candidate for 17U MVP honors this weekend. The Kaukauna standout is a deadly 3-point shooter and underrated facilitator. Generating Division 1 interest going into the spring evaluation period, Ferris is certainly a scholarship talent with the only question being, which level?
Jacksun Hamilton – 2020 – F – La Crosse Elevate
Hamilton is an intriguing college prospect. The 6-foot-5 junior plays bigger than his size considering his bounce and length. Hamilton hasn’t fully expanded his skill set to the perimeter yet, but has the potential to develop into a mismatch problem. He’ll likely need a few years to develop at the college level, but Hamilton remains a prospect whose best days are still ahead of him if he puts the work in.
Jayden Jackson – 2021 – SG – ABC Young Lions Black
Division 1 and 2 programs are going to want to begin getting a head start on Jackson this weekend. One of the fastest rising players in the state, Jackson has an intriguing frame and skillset. The 6-foot-3 sophomore is a three-level scorer with the tools and potential to be an outstanding defender at the next level as well.
Jaylyn Kelley – 2020 – PG – Wisconsin Surge
Kelley has gotten off to a great start this spring. A fast and explosive lead guard, Kelley can break defenders down off the bounce and live in the paint, despite being undersized. The sophomore guard will look to build on a terrific first outing at the Adidas Gauntlet in Indianapolis from earlier this month.
Christopher Morgan – 2022 – G – Wisconsin Crusaders
A top 15 prospect in the class of 2022, Morgan holds an early scholarship offer from West Virginia. A strong 3-point shooter, transition presence, and two-way threat, Morgan has a quality all-around game that’s sure to attract schools from all over the country over the next three years.
Riley Murphy – 2020 – G – Wisconsin Crusaders
A player that’s going to rise big in the next 2020 rankings, Murphy has been shooting the cover off the ball this spring. The 5-foot-11 guard has unlimited range and a quick shooting stroke. A speedy and crafty combo guard, Murphy is deadly as a catch and shoot threat and running off screens and hunting shots.
Jackson Noll – 2020 – PG – Wisconsin Academy Noll
One of the state’s top shooters, Noll has the ability to put up big numbers on the AAU circuit. The lefty has a smooth stroke and can knock down shots from well beyond the arc. Once Noll gets hot from the outside, there’s little defenders can do to cool him off.
Gavin Ralph – 2021 – SF – Wisconsin Academy
One of the top small school prospects in the state, Ralph is a hidden gem from Wauzeka-Steuben. A versatile forward who can handle the ball and make decisions in transition, Ralph can play multiple positions. He’s also got some above the rim ability and is improving as a shooter from beyond `15 feet.
James Randolph – 2020 – SF – Wisconsin Surge
Randolph is a high-upside sleeper to know this weekend. Capable of getting 15 points and 15 rebounds consistently, Randolph is a high-energy prospect that can change the momentum of games. Randolph shows flashes with his ability to slash from mid-range and the perimeter, but right now, his bread and butter is getting on the offensive glass and generating putbacks.
