2019 6’8 F Anton Watson (Gonzaga Prep HS) – Gonzaga signee and the state’s most physically imposing player had himself quite the game. He was dominant in the paint on both ends of the floor and did a good job defensively on Mt. Si’s big time perimeter shooter. Between his monstrous dunks and pinpoint passes, Anton finished with 33 points on 16-19 shooting. He also grabbed 8 rebounds and gave out 4 beautiful assists. Anton Watson will go down as one of the best high school players to ever come out of Washington with his complete resume and talent put together.
2022 5’10 PG Bennett O’Connor (Mt. Si HS) – The freshman point guard played with poise beyond his years. He handled the ball very well against a consistent and physical pressure, especially during the first three quarters. He made plays attacking the basket and most importantly he controlled the tempo for Mt. Si as good as a 15 year old can do. Bennett would finish with 13 points and 4 rebounds.
2020 6’5 CG Jabe Mullins (Mt. Si HS) – Jabe did a little bit of everything, from defending Watson, running the point and breaking his man down off the dribble. 2019 5’9 G Jacob Parola (Gonzaga Prep HS) – Jacob is a gritty senior guard and did all of the little things to help his team win. He scored when it was there and he facilitated the offense on the break and half court. Jacob was good for 6 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists in his final high school game.
2020 6’5 SG Liam Lloyd (Gonzaga Prep HS) – The junior guard started off the game slow, but he got things rolling in the second half. He did a quality job as a slasher, moving without the ball and finishing with touch off the glass. Liam ran the break hard and made all the right plays. On defense he forced Mt. Si’s star combo guard into multiple difficult and contested mid range jumpers. He ended with 9 points, 3 rebounds and 2 assists.
2020 6’7 SG Tyler Patterson (Mt. Si HS) – The junior shooter had a tough offensive assignment with Anton Watson defending him, but he was able to make some outside shots off of flare screens. Tyler had 12 points on 4 made threes.
2019 6’1 G Sheadon Byrd (Gonzaga Prep HS) – The ultimate wrecking ball on the court spent a good amount of time defending Mt. Si’s league MVP and forced him into some difficult shots, with the help of teammate, Liam Lloyd.
