Player Breakdown
Jackie Johnson III / 5’9” / PG / Oklahoma Impact / 2021
Johnson was arguably the most exciting player to watch at the event. The three-star guard from Kansas electrified the crowd with his shifty handles, pinpoint passes, and ability to score at will.
Jaxson Robinson / 6’5” / SF / Team Griffin (EYBL) 16U / 2021
Robinson was the X-factor for his team this past weekend. He is a long wing that can knock down multiple jumpers off the catch. Against Mudiay Elite, Robinson connected for seven threes in the win over the Under Armour squad.
Devon Barnes / 6’0” / PG / Nike Team Griffin 16U (EYBL) / 2021
Barnes is a solid lead guard that makes good decisions with the basketball. He is a tough driver with a strong frame.
Trey Alexander / 6’4” / SG / Team Griffin 16U (EYBL) / 2021
Alexander is a talented off-ball guard that can do a multitude of things on the court. He’s a strong rebounder, passer, and scorer. Alexander was without his four-star counterpart K.J. Adams, but his stellar play helped Team Griffin go 3-0 this weekend.
Daimion Collins / 6’8” / PF / Nike Team Griffin 16U (EYBL) / 2021
Collins is an intriguing four-man that possesses a long wingspan which allows him to block shots and finish over defenders. Collins has a good motor and plays hard from start to finish. The East Texas native has a chance to be a national prospect by the end of the summer if he continues to play with consistency.
Bijan Cortes / 6’1” / PG / Team Griffin
Cortes is a guard with good handles and court vision. Against Mudiay Elite, Cortes displayed the ability to create off the bounce and finish around the basket.
