The Warriors have a balanced roster of players for each each class. Nishan Rombley, Emmanuel Coleman, Omarion Jay, Quentin Richardson, Adrame Diongue
Rombley (2019) 6’8 St Maarten – Rombley is in his 3rd year here at MZCA. Rombley plays one and one way only and that’s all out all the time. Rombley plays extremely and rebounds the ball very well on both sides of the floor. Rombley tends to stay in the paint and will play with his back to the basket. Rombley is a strong student in the classroom according to Coach Baines.
Coleman (2019) 6’7 Ghana, Africa – Coleman played last season at nearby Freedom Christian (Fayetteville). Coleman comes off the bench for the Warriors. Coleman is a RAW talent and runs the floor very well. Coleman is very coachable and seems to lack offensive production.
Jay (2020) – 6’8 Durham, NC – Jay started the season over at Moravian Prep (NC) before coming over here in early January 2019. Jay struggled today with conditioning and offensive production. Jay needs to stay more engaged in the game at times.
Richardson (2021) – Roanoke Rapids, NC – Richardson 6’1 combo guard is the future for the Warriors. Recently teammate Po’Boigh King left the school and returned back to Roanoke Rapids HS. Richardson has a nice mid-range pull-up game and stroke from downtown. Richardson plays at a very calm demeanor on the floor.
Diongue (2022) – Diongue 6’9 hails from Senegal, Africa. Diongue is a very long and wiry post prospect. Diongue just seems to glide all over the floor with long strides. Diongue needs to add weight and strength for the future. Diongue has the ability to put the ball on the deck at times. Diongue shows great promise on the defensive end with his ability to block and alter shots.
