Adrian Caldwell 6’4 SF / Morton Ranch / 2020 PHTX100
Texas Mel Elite has added a great wing in Caldwell. He is uber bouncy. Plays above the rim and finishes well in the paint. Caught a nasty two-handed alley. Plays with a great motor on both sides of the ball. Rebounds the ball very well. Knocked down all his free throws. Sets really solid screens. Has a physical build.
Jordan Ivy-Curry 6’1 PG / LaMarque / 2020 PHTX100
Houston Raptors scoring guard. Another premiere scorer at a high rate. Great percentage at all levels. Can play above the rim as well. He shot 15/20 from deep over the entire weekend and went 8/11 on Sunday. Can create for himself and others. Has a good handle on the ball. Plays hard on the defensive side of the ball with a good motor. With great lateral movement.
Austin Benigni 5’10 PG / Texas Christian / 2022 PHTX25
Was running with PB Nation/YIIS 15U this weekend. Normally runs with Nike’s JL3 16U. Head strong point guard. Has good vision. Strong handle on the ball. Scores well from behind the arc and gets to the rim. Speedy guard that takes his opponent off the dribble. Attacks the rim strong and finishes well through contact.
Cameron Crockett 6’5 SF / Fort Bend Travis / 2022
Houston Defenders star got the juice. Lengthy wing that has a lot of upside to him. Has good control of the ball. Can take his man off the dribble. Knocked down some jumpers. Finishes at the rim. Has a good bounce and runs the floor well. Good motor. Causes havoc on the defensive side of the ball. Alters shots. Will be interesting to see his progress over the next couple of years.
Jestin Porter 5’10 PG / Cypress Ridge / 2020 PHTX100
Team Harden shooting point has a strap. He is a 3 point specialist. Knocked down a lot of big trey balls in the games i seen. Contested and uncontested went in at the same rate. Has decent speed. Can get to the bucket as well. Moves well without the ball in his hand. Haven’t seen his facilitating skills yet in the multiple games that I’ve seen throughout the year.
Marcus Williams 6’2 CG / Dickinson / 2020 PHTX100
Team Harden combo i taking his game to the next level. He is a problem with the ball in his hands. Can take you of off the dribble. Creates his own shots. Creates for others as well. Could play either point or two guard. Moves great without the ball. He is a menace on defense. Has now added the meet me at the rim package in his game. Dunked on a guy coming straight down the lane. Super high motor. Great skill set.
Zac Harris 6’5 SF / Bellaire / 2019 ????Unsigned Senior Alert????
Houston Raptors was huge on both sides of the ball. Played amazing on the defensive end of the ball against Team Harden. Blocked a dunk. Played the passing lanes. Good lateral movement. Can shoot the deep ball. Play above the rim. Active on the glass offensively and defensively. Has a good motor also. Could be a great glue guy on the next level D2/D3/NAIA.
Jocloby Belle 6’2 WG / Texas City / 2020
Houston Raptors utility player. He brings his tool bag to work every time. He is like a handy man. He can do it all. Plays like a small forward. Best rate of scoring is attacking from the wing. Rebounds the ball. Plays hard nosed defense. Blocks shots, Quick active hands with good lateral movement. Scores well around the rim. Has good strength and able to body opponents.
