1. Carson Towt (Gilbert 2019)
Carson Towt had a very historic senior season and took home some serious hardware. Look at his resume this season: undefeated season, state championship, and 5A Conference Player of the Year. It is hard to make the case that anyone else had a better season than this guy.
2. DaRon Holmes (Millennium 2021)
I believe Holmes had one of the best season out of all of the forwards in the conference. He has shown that he is one of the top players in state and has many people believing that Millennium is the early contender for the title next year. Holmes picked up some solid college options this season and put up some monster stats on his way to the state championship game. This guy is a player that everyone needs to keep an eye out on. DaRon was also put on the 5A All-Conference 1st team.
3. Cassius Carmichael (Ironwood 2019)
Cassius Carmichael is no stranger to some hardware as well as both the guys listed above. Carmichael was named to the 5A All Conference 1st team and won Breakout Player of the Year. He was also named to the 5A Northwest 1st Team and had a very solid stat line: 14.3 points per game 9.3 rebounds per game 2.7 steals per game. He was a huge part of Ironwood’s success this season and he will be missed next season.
4. Emad Elniel (Independence 2019)
Emad Elniel is one of those players who isn’t talked about enough. He can absolutely fill a stat sheet and I believe he is more than capable of playing at the next level. He scored 21.8 points per game, dropped 3 assists per game, gathered 9.6 rebounds, and averaged 2.1 steals per game.
5. Jason Harris (Higley 2020)
Jason Harris is a lot like Emad, in terms of play style. Both are very big forwards who do most of their scoring in the paint and gather up a ton of rebounds. Harris had a monster season, statistically wise, averaging 20.4 points per game, 10.4 rebounds per game, 1.6 assists per game, and 2 blocks per game.
