All State First Team
Tyrell Terry of DeLaSalle (Sr). Tyrell earned three state titles at DeLaSalle and finished off his senior year with a 22.1 point, 7 assist per game season. A Mr Basketball finalist and the easy selection as Class AAA Player of the Year.
Jamison Battle of DeLaSalle (Sr). A three-point marksman that also grabbed nine rebounds a game and blocked a pair of shots a contest. Battle scored 21.2 points per contest this year.
J’Vonne Hadley of Mahtomedi (Jr). Hadley led the Zephyrs to their first trip to state in ages while averaging 27.9 points a game with 8.3 rebounds a contest. Throw in fives assists and 2.5 steals a game and it was a monster season.
Malik Willingham of Waseca (Sr).. The Jays leader scored nearly 20 points a game while also averaging six assists, five boards, and three assists a contest. Led the Jays to second in state.
Jon Stimmler of Princeton (Sr). The Tigers earned a spot in the Class AAA final four with a fantastic group of team basketball players. Stimmler was the leading scorer, rebounder, and shot blocker with his double-double average (18.2/11.6).
All State Second Team
Medi Obang of Austin (Sr). Obang led Austin to a third place in state finish with 18.9 points per game.
Adam Williams of Princeton (Sr). Williams was the second leading scorer at Princeton (17.3 a game) but also lead the Final Four team in total assists (averaged 4.9 a game).
Thomas Gieske of Sartell (Sr). Gieske led Sartell to an outstanding season, maybe the biggest surprise of a season anywhere in the state. Averaged 24 a game before getting hurt.
Jack Thompson of St. Thomas (Sr). Thompson scored 18.4 points per game with seven boards, 5.1 assists, and 3.8 steals a night. Took his team to state twice.
Andrew Morgan of Waseca (Soph). Morgan put together a 16 point, 8.5 rebound season for the second place team in state shooting an impressive 65 percent from the field.
All State Third Team
Derek Techam of Delano (Sr). One of the state’s best three point shooters led Delano a strong year scoring 25 points a game.
Ryan Dufault of Waseca (Soph). The Waseca leader in assists, the second leading scorer, and the ball handler of the second best team in Class AAA.
Matt Johnson of Fergus Falls (Sr). Johnson scored 19.2 points a game this year with 5 boards and 4.5 assists a game.
Charles Johnson of Holy Angels (Sr). One of the top defenders in the state who lead his team in assists and steals plus was the second leading rebounder and a double figure scorer.
Spencer Konecne of Bemidji (Sr). Led the Lumberjacks to state with 15 points, 11 rebounds, and four blocks per game shooting 55 percent from the floor.
Jax Madson of Mankato East (Jr). Mankato East finished third in state rankings wise and Madson scored nearly 21 a game on 42 percent three point shooting with 6rb and 3.5 assists per game.
All State Fourth Team
PJ Hayes of Waconia (Jr). Hayes led Waconia with 24 points a game.
Treyton Thompson of Alexandria (Soph). Thompson scored 17 points with 8.6 boards and 2.7 blocks a contest.
Luke Lendell of Hibbing (Sr). The Bluejackets won 22 game with Luke scoring 19 a contest
Mason Zick of Northfield (Sr). Scored 19 a game for a top ten team in Class AAA.
Connor Bich of Hermantown (Sr). Put up 23 a contest as a senior.
Logan Nagorski of Big Lake (Sr). Logan scored 20 a night with 7.8 boards.
