Alex Huibregtse – 2020 – SG – Phenom University NY2LA
We’ve elevated Huibregtse to a top 20 prospect in the state of Wisconsin, but he’s still a relatively unknown commodity. A dangerous sharpshooter who can create his own shot off the bounce, Huibgretse averaged better than 20 points per game for Grafton, one of the most improved teams in the state last season. The 6-foot-2 junior can play either guard position and has the ability to get hot, stay hot, and light up opposing defenses. Look for Huibgretse to get strong Division 2 interest during the travel season.
Tyrell Stuttley – 2020 – SF – Wisconsin Dynasty
A budding prospect whose best days are still ahead of him, Stuttley hit a new level during his junior season. A strong, bouncy forward who can has some three-level scoring ability and is also a factor on the defensive end, Stuttley contributes in a variety of ways. The 6-foot-5 forward has a chance to be a dangerous mismatch problem given his frame, length, and leaping ability.
Cade Hall – 2020 – SF – Wisconsin Swing
Hall averaged nearly 19 points per game as a junior. A sweet-shooting wing with excellent length, Hall is a deadly sniper with some deceptive athleticism. While he’s raw physically and needs to add on weight, Hall is skilled and has a quick first step off the dribble to create space and pull-up off the bounce. Given his versatility and upside, Hall could catch some Division 2 looks, but should be a player Division 3 programs begin to prioritize.
Aidan Flynn – 2020 – SF – Wisconsin Rap
Only saw Flynn once last season, but loved what we saw. The 6-foot-5 forward is an excellent slasher who can pull people away from the rim and get to the cup. The lefty is a long strider who covers ground quickly and does a great job of taking and absorbing contact at the rim. We’re eager to see if this kid can build off last season, where he averaged 17.2 ppg.
Logan Landers – 2021 – PF – Wisconsin Swing
Landers is a dominant big man who’s powerful, yet also skilled. The 6-foot-8 sophomore averaged a double-double last season for Brookfield Academy. Landers is very well put together physically, with advanced length and strength. He can also step away from the basket and shoot the ball a little bit and moves laterally well for his size, which helps him defend on the perimeter and as a weak-side shot blocker. Don’t be surprised if Landers starts attracting Divison 1 attention over the next year.
Quinton Murrell – 2021 – SG – Kevon Looney Elite
Murrell has a chance to be a Division 1 player when all is said and done. Murrell averaged 14.5 ppg this season after transferring from Dominican. A plus-length wing who can create his own shot, there’s a lot to like about this 6-foot-3 sophomore.
Adam Larson – 2021 – F – Wisconsin Academy
One of the best shooters in the state, Larson averaged 17.5 ppg as a sophomore. At 6-foot-8, Larson is a stretch forward who excels in the pick n’ pop game. He’s also surprisingly consistent at shooting off the dribble despite a lanky frame. Larson is a prospect that has a chance to shoot way up in the rankings with a good travel season.
Antuan Nesbitt – 2021 – G/F – Wisconsin Sharks
One of the most intriguing prospects in the state, Nesbitt has a frame that suggests he’s still in store for a big growth spurt. A high-upside wing/point forward, Nesbitt led The Prairie School in points, rebounds, and assists last season. He’s listed at 6-foot-3, but has a lot of length for his size and is a terrific isolation scorer/facilitator and somebody opponents struggle to match up with.
Brandin Podziemski – 2021 – SG – Wisconsin Rap
Heading into the season, many thought that Gerald Gittens or James Kelley would be the go-to players for Saint John’s Northwestern Military Academy. Turns out, it was Podziemski, who had a huge sophomore season, averaging 22.5 ppg. A sweet-shooting guard who can come of screens or pull-up off the dribble, stop on a dime, and let it fly, Podziemski is one of the best scorers you haven’t heard about yet.
Jeffery Brazziel – 2022 – W/F – Wisconsin Playground
A do-it-all, sort of positionless prospect, Brazziel led Milwaukee Bradley Tech at 15.5 points, 7.8 rebounds, and was second at 2.8 assists last season. The 6-foot-5 freshman can handle the ball and find different ways to score. While still raw physically, Brazziel plays with strength around the rim and isn’t afraid to battle for second chance opportunities.
