John Haddock Rogers – T.L. Hanna HS (Anderson) (pictured on front)
Haddock Rogers averaged 9.5 ppg and 6.6 rebounds this season for the Yellow Jackets. Haddock Rogers has the ability to play inside-out on the floor and feels very comfortable facing up. Rogers will run with Team SC this coming Grassroots season.
Mezziah Oakman – Northside Christian (Lexington)
Oakman 6’11 needs to get out of retirement after transferring over from Ben Lippen to Northside Christian this past year. Oakman finally started playing some games this season for Northside Christian after never playing at Ben Lippen when he arrived back in January 2018. Oakman started off his career at Gray Collegiate. Oakman has the tools but just needs to be playing more on a CONSISTENT basis and come out of hibernation.
Josh Rubio – Comenius School (Fort Mill)
Rubio is a very skilled young man with a thick frame. Rubio has hood hands and has the ability to step away from the basket and knock down shots. Rubio at times plays with some edge and isn’t afraid to mix it up I nthe paint.
Devon Bristow – McBee HS
Bristow really made good strides this season for the Panthers. Bristow 6’8 averaged 10.7 ppg, 13.1 rebounds and 3.7 blocks this past season. Bristow who possibly could still grow some more has started to figure out some things on the floor and still has his best basketball in front of him down the road. Bristow informed Prep Hoops that he will play with the Carolina Wolves North Carolina this spring.
Dorian Miles – Eastside HS (Taylors)
Miles 6’5 is a space eater in the paint. Miles has the ability to play with his back to the basket and knock defenders around on contact. Miles needs to stay the course and in condition to be effective.
