WICHITA, Kan. — The Kansas 6A state championships saw a host of players make a name for themselves on the biggest stage in Wichita.

Here, Prep Hoops takes a look at several top point guards who raised their profile with their performance at the state tournament in Wichita.

23-Armahn Downing, 6’0, G, 2019, Washburn Rural

A smooth, athletic guard, Downing has a solid game on both ends of the floor. He has a nice pull-up jumper from the mid-range and likes to get into the lane and make plays for his teammates. He has a good feel for floor space and makes smart, timely passes in a way that is all his own.
