Ryan Andrews, 6’0, G, 2021, Augusta
A strong guard who works hard at both ends of the floor, Andrews is a knock down shooter from behind the arc who plays tough, in-your-face defense and doesn’t back down from a challenge. He moves well off the ball, can finish around the basket and is a hard worker. He got the defensive assignment against Andale guard Easton Hunter for much of Wednesday’s quarterfinal round match-up and made it difficult for the standout.
Mason Manbeck, 5’11, PG, 2019, Chanute
A tough point guard, Manbeck put together a strong floor game for the Blue Comets’ in its quarterfinal loss to Trinity on Thursday in Salina as he handed out six assists, picked up a pair of steals and played tough defense. He handle the ball well, can lead a team and put together a strong senior season for Chanute.
Brandon Colston, 6’2,G, 2019, Chapman
A strong, athletic guard with good size, Colston is a terrific all-around player who handles it well, can shoot from the outside and is a strong defender. He scored 13 points and hauled in four rebounds in a semifinal loss to Augusta on Friday as he knocked down a pair of 3-pointers.
Chason Linder, 6’4, G/F, 2019, Wichita Trinity
Linder is a long, rangy 6’4 wing player who brings a well-rounded skill set to the floor. He is a versatile defensive player who can guard multiple spots, handles the ball well and gets to the basket well. He put together a big performance in the opening round win over Chanute on Thursday, scoring 14 points on 6 of 7 shooting from the field.
