Patrick, a three year starter, will go down as one of the leading assist man in school history. His court vision is evident when watching him play. Devin Patrick finishes his senior season averaging 5.7 assists per game.
“Devin has been a great model of the unselfishness, dedication, and effort we strive for in our program. He puts in countless hours in the gym getting up shots, he’s a willing and extremely talented passer, and he’s a phenomenal competitor,” says Dansville coach Cole Feldpausch.
With Caleb Hodgson shouldering the bulk of the scoring for Dansville, Patrick’s impact is felt on other areas of the game.
“He’s willing to do whatever it takes to win; he’ll battle for every loose ball, guard the other team’s best player, and never backs out of taking charges,” said Feldpausch.
Leading Dansville to back to back District titles, it is easy to envision Devin Patrick as a collegiate point guard. Time will tell if Patrick will be playing at the next level, but he will be missed by the Aggies.
“I can’t put enough emphasis on how much that means to a team and a program to have a competitor like Devin leading the charge every night. He’s going to be tough to replace,” says Feldpausch.
