The 6’1″ Haney exploded on the scene as a freshman during the 2018 season when he averaged 22 points a game to lead the Falcons to a 24-6 record and a district championship.
The young SWMO bucket-getter was just getting started as he took his game to another level during a stellar sophomore season in which he led Dora to a Final Four appearance and a runner-up finish in the Class 1 state tournament.
As a sophomore, Haney averaged 25 points a game while shooting better than 50 percent from the field for the Falcons, who finished the 2019 season with a 30-2 record, including tournament championships at Cabool and Mountain Grove.
Along the way to leading the Falcons to the state championship game, Haney enjoyed some prime-time individual performances. He scored a season-high 48 points in a victory over Lutie. He scored 34 points in a victory over Marshfield in the Scoreboard Guy Shootout. He scored 38 points in a 64-59 over defending state champion Eminence in the Class 1, District 3 championship game.
With two more seasons left to play, Haney is on track to posting some of the most impressive scoring totals in Missouri high school annals.
