Trey Phipps 2020 Booker T. Washington
Phipps scored 42 points in the biggest game of his life. That should tell you the type of player he is and how the shows up when the lights are the brightest. He led BTW to a 6A State Championship while showing off his ability to score and score quickly.
Phipps was a fan favorite at the Maybee Center due to his Steph Curry-like runs where he would score 9 points in a row and get the crowd on his feet.
Kalib Boone 2019 Tulsa Memorial
Both Kalib and Keylan Boone where outstanding the entire tournament. Kalib was the top performer in 5A due to his championship game numbers of 21 points and 17 rebounds.
He dominated in every way this past weekend and the Chargers were able to win their third-straight championship which is historic.
Jett Sternberger 2019 Kingfisher
Sternberger is one of the greatest shooters to ever step foot in the Big House. His career has flown by due to his ability to get the job done from day 1.
Kingfisher got payback against Heritage Hall led by Sternberger. His ability to shoot the ball and play with such a higher IQ than most players his age.
Micah Thomas 2019 PC North
Thomas gave one of the best offensive performances we will ever see at the state tournament. He scored 44 points in the semifinal game against Edmond Memorial to help PC North complete the upset.
It was fun watching an elite scorer get in the zone to where every time he touched the ball it wasn’t about if he was going to score but more importantly how he was going to the bucket.
Jacob Germany 2019 Kingston
Germany is one of the top 5 most talented players in the state and showed that in the 3A State Tournament. Specifically in the championship game, he scored 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds.
The 6’11 big man showed all of his tools and the ability to lead his team to the mountain top of 3A basketball.
