Seniors To Watch:
- Ben Roderick (6’5” / W 2019 / Olentangy Liberty): Possibly the best player in the State Tourney, Roderick happens to still be uncommitted. The 6-foot-5 forward can score from everywhere at a high rate, especially inside. A harsh competitor who competes on both sides of the court with poise. The lefty is trying to earn a high major offer late in the process, what better place to do it then on the big stage? Averaging 25 PPG in the regional tourney, look for Ben Roderick to take it to another level. Don’t be surprised to see Ben Roderick put his team on his back at times and put on a show.
- Soul Hines (6’4” / WG 2019 / Harvest Prep): Soul Hines is another lengthy player that can really knock it down from deep. Putting up over 20 points in the District Final, Soul Hines really stepped up. A nice compliment to the Harvest Prep guards, Hines can take the scoring duties at time. Also, with length, able to defend a couple positions. Hines will need to be on his game, for the Warriors to do what they’re capable of.
- Treohn Watkins (5’11” / G 2019 / Columbus South): Treohn Watkins leads a host of Bulldogs guards that bring it. Watkins is a quick release shooter who can shoot it from deep at a high clip. A good ball handler, Watkins does a nice job of running things. The drive and kick, is an example of the awareness Watkins plays with. The senior guard is unsigned and still looking to improve his offer list. Look for him to lead the South Bulldogs over their championship run.
- Mitchell Kershner (6’3 / WG 2019 / Olentangy Liberty): Mitchell Kershner is a part of the Olentangy senior class that has been terrific leaders this season. Going above and beyond expectations, Kershner was in the middle of all of it. Big in the Regional Final, the senior had 15 points and nine rebounds. Another scoring option for the Patriots, as well as a lengthy player, another stopper option. The Patriot senior will have to bring it like he did against Pickerington Central, for Liberty to have an adequate chance.
