Umar Lawson – Laurence Manning (Manning) – 3 Ball Elite (pictured on front)
Lawson had a great first year for Head Coach Will Epps and the Swampcats. Lawson 6’1 left-handed guard shot right at 50% (218-434) from the floor while averaging 18.5 ppg. Lawson looks to be the future of the Swampcats basketball program.
Jameson Tucker – Mauldin HS
Tucker averaged 15.2 ppg this season for the Mavericks (22-7) who lost in the Class 5A Upper State Championship Game to Dorman HS. Tucker 6’3 is a football target on the gridiron as a wide receiver.
Chase McDuffie – Gray Collegiate – Carolina Pressure 17
McDuffie will look to be more of a focal point with several players graduating from the War Eagles this season. McDuffie 6’4 won his 2nd straight Class 2A State Championship this season while averaging 6.2 ppg
Mac Washington – Marion HS – Upward Stars Pee Dee
Washington really stepped up his game this past year for the Swamp Foxes. Washington 6’3 now can really knockdown shots on the perimeter and plays the game extremely hard at all times. Washington averaged 12 ppg this season.
Nic Williams – Greenville Tech – Game Elite
Williams was MIA for a good portion of the season for the Wildcats this season. Williams has good size and motor when on the floor.
Lawton Fulford – Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach – Big Shots Elite SC 2021
Fulford 6’2 will look to be the leader of this Saints offense this coming season with the graduation of Mike Green. Fulford will be in his 7th year of varsity next season and 3rd year at Christian Academy of Myrtle Beach. Fulford started his career at North Myrtle Beach Christian and played on the varsity as a 6th grader while reclassifying. Fulford went over 1,000 career points earlier this year and now stands at 1,124 career points.
Fulford connected on 44% (45-103) from three point range this season. Fulford averaged 8.8 ppg for the Saints.
