PrepHoopsIllinois is excited to get out to tons of events over the next few months. We wanted to give you some insight into the players we are excited to see this spring! Here is our Looking Forward: 2021 Point Guards.
Jaehshon Thomas (Aurora Christian)
Thomas jumped off the court when we saw him early in the high school season with his all-around game and ability to put the ball in the hoop. Very much interested in seeing his progress!
Conor Enright (Mundelein)
Enright posted big numbers during his sophomore year. The lead guard is a slick distributor and shot maker. Will be playing on a loaded Illinois Wolves squad.
Noah Reynolds (Peoria Notre Dame) & Isaiah Donnell (Peoria Richwoods)
We put these two together as they both were intriguing last summer with Brad Beal Elite 15U. When we saw their teams play during the high school season they either didn’t play or have the biggest games. Two point guards that this will be a key spring.
Ethyn Brown (Belleville Althoff)
Brown is a smooth combo guard that ran the show for Althoff. He can score it and get others involved. One of the better metro east guards in the class.
Jhei-R Jones (Lincoln Way East)
Jones showed his ability to score in bunches when we saw him in the high school season. How will that translate on the circuit?
