PrepHoopsIllinois is excited to get out to tons of events over the next few months. We wanted to give you some insight into the players we are excited to see this spring! Here is our Looking Forward: 2020 Posts.
Seryee Lewis (Morgan Park)
This list is pretty much a who’s who of posts in 2020. We start with the top power forward in the state. Lewis had a solid junior year. He definitely flashed his elite athleticism, but the EYBL is a whole different world!
Martice Mitchell (Bloom)
Mitchell has a ton of potential as a face up five man. He has size, length, and skill. The consistency game in and game out is what we will be looking for out of him with the Mac Irvin Fire.
Chris Conway (Naperville Central)
Conway is a pure upside play with skill and athleticism. The production wasn’t always there this past year, but he has the projectable tools for the next level. Will be playing with Indy Heat in the EYBL so he will need to really step it up!
Devon House (Sterling Newman)
House is a wide bodied five man that has excellent footwork when playing with his back to the basket. New team for him as well with the Iowa Barnstormers. No offers entering the spring, but that should change!
Sam Shultz (Oswego East)
Shultz had a solid junior campaign with Oswego East. Strong bodied four man that can space the floor while still scoring on the block.
Ryan Isaacson (Hinsdale Central)
Isaacson brings a lot of intrigue for scouts and college coaches with the way he spaces the floor shooting. Runs the floor with ease. Missed some time this year with an injury, but is a name we are super excited about this spring.
Nate Seputis (Lincoln Way East)
Seputis is a prospect we are waiting to take that next step. Has size and skill, but we want to see more consistent production.
Aaron Tims (Hinsdale South)
Tims is a combo forward that will probably be used at the next level as an undersized four. The 6’6” junior is quick twitched around the hoop and can get on the glass. Want to see him expand his game.
Kennedy Brown (Bogan)
Brown really flashed for us early in the season with Bogan. Rebounded well and showed rim protecting ability. Not much playing time in the state tournament. Looking forward to getting an extended look at him.
Jordan and Bennett Kwiecinski (Loyola)
The twins have been on our radar for a while. Skilled face up fours that can handle, shoot, and pass. We will be looking to see how they produce on the UAA circuit.
