#HustleSZNKickOff San Diego Standouts, Part 2
Jay Friend, 5-10 2021 PG, Gamepoint 16u Select
Friend showed a ton of moxie in Gamepoint’s overtime win over Fuego (WA), igniting a 17-point turnaround timely buckets and heady plays on both ends. Not the biggest guy on the court, but he has underrated length and toughness.
Miles Winfree, 6-1 2021 G, Gamepoint 16u Select
Winfree, a year removed from two devastating knee injuries, had two solid efforts for the Select team. The crafty combo guard plays with solid pace, possesses good feel, shoots it and gives an honest effort on defense on the ball.
Michael Morse, 6-0 2021 G, West Coast Flight
Sharpshooter is the best way to describe the deadly catch-and-shoot threat for the underrated Flight team. Morse, part of a Torrey Pines JV team that went 28-0 this season, has a quick-trigger release and his shots barely hit the rim.
Conan O’Brien, 6-3 2021 W, West Coast Flight
The big-bodied wing scored it efficiently off the catch and off the bounce from mid-range, and has underrated feel and court vision.
Solomon Little, 6-2 2021 G, Coastal Elite Slayers
Hyper-quick and fluid combo guard prospect thrives in transition, where he can play above the rim. Defensively, one of the best on-ball defenders in the gym.
