Hard Work Region Preview: All Love Basketball
The spring is almost here! We have been previewing the teams participating in the PrepHoops Circuit Hard Work Region over the last few months.
Below is our chat with Devin Johnson of the All Love Basketball travel team program previewing this upcoming season!
Why did you start your program? How long have you been around?
I started All Love Basketball in 2014 with the purpose of enriching our community and developing some of the great raw talent we have in our area. Our community also didn’t have an AAU program and our kids skills were way behind without having some of the same opportunities in the Chicagoland Area or bigger cities.
What is the goal of your program for 2019?
Our goal biggest goal in 2019 is to get all our kids offers to play at the next level. Ultimately that what it’s about, getting the kid closer to their dreams and an opportunity to get their education paid for.
What is your program’s mission each year?
To lead our athletes down a path of growth and development on and off the court.
Do you know of any players that will be back in your program this year? Who should we have our eye on?
We have quite a few players returning this season and also a lot of new talent coming into the program which is very exciting. All of our kids this year have a ton of upside and we can’t wait to see what the season brings for them. Some of the kids to keep an eye on the circuit
Tyrone Kennedy – 13U
Quavion Hoover – 13U
Jaxson Provost – 14U
James Stevenson – 14U
Mark Robinson – 15U
Christian Whalum – 15U
Zekwan Murrell -15U
AJ Storr – 16U
Willie Strickland 16U

Why did you choose the PrepHoops Circuit?
In 2017 we had the opportunity to go to our first PH event at Battle of the Lakes. It was such an amazing event and our kids and families thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Our 15U ended up winning the tournament in the Regional Division and it was just an awesome weekend. Nick and everyone at Prep Hoops have treated us great and when they announced the PHC it was a no brainer that our program is a part of what we believe will be something special.
