Extreme Heat is a 16U team in the mid-ohio area, with a combination of different styled players. A lot of these players are also opponents or teammates in the high school season, so they’re familiar with each other.
Roster Breakdown:
• Tj Pugh (6’5” / WF / Shelby HS): The sophomore is an all-around playmaker. A legit college prospect, Pugh gets to the rack with ease, as well as really good foot work in the paint. Long arms and frame help force turnovers, where he can finish in transition. Working on his shot, which will take his game to the next level.
• Ethan Bell 5’10” / G / River Valley HS): Bell is more of your pure point guard, who likes to create. Good court vision and passing skills, the sophomore can rack up the assists. Also, an improving scorer who can let it fly from deep as well.
• Jahki Henderson (6’5” / F / Marion Harding HS): Henderson has a lot of raw potential that just hasn’t been tapped. Ability to play above the rim, and finish in the post. Henderson needs to continue to work on his athleticism, that will do measures on both ends.
• Ayden Rich (6’3” / WG / Marion Harding HS): Rich is your basic glue guy, a good athlete that is a solid defender. Good measurables including vertical, Rich is able to block shots at the rim. Able to guard multiple positions also. The sophomores offense comes from a lot of slashing, but can improve in that part of his game.
• Griffin Shaver (6’0” / CG / Ontario HS): Griffin Shaver will be one of the team’s best scorers, able to create his own show or work off of screens. The sophomore is a smart ball handler that can run an offense or work off-ball. Also a defender that can take opposing guards out of the game for periods of time.
