The Comets talented junior
A name to remember moving forward is Luc Laketa. The 6’5″ forward came out on a mission scoring the first 11 points for Hanover-Horton. Laketa displayed leadership and versatility finishing with a game high 30 points.
Aggies fight
Trailing 35-25 at halftime Dansville come out of the break strong lead by senior guard Devin Patrick and senior forward Caleb Hodgson. Three consecutive 3-point shots by Patrick and a buzzer beating fade away from Hodgson kept the Aggies close. They trimmed Hanover-Horton’s lead to 3 heading into the 4th quarter.
Closing strong
Hanover-Horton did what was needed to close out this games. The Comets pressured the 3-point line and limited open looks for the Aggies. Dansville was forced to foul as Hanover-Horton clinched their regional championship at the foul line.
Electric atmosphere
Not enough can be said about the fans of Hanover-Horton and Dansville with more than 30 minutes before tip-off the arena was at full capacity. These are the type of scenes that make people love high school basketball. The Comets and Aggies both are proud of their following.

Hanover-Horton advances to the state quarterfinals where they will face Erie-Mason
Dansville finishes the year at 16-6 and says farewell to talented group of seniors.
