His ability to facilitate was on display as well, he made quite a few plays where he made the extra pass as well making the right decision in pick and roll situations.
Southern Lee Senior Guard Khalil Ridges: His senior season was pretty impressive as he helped lead his team to quite a few wins and was productive overall. More of a slashing/mid-range game type of guard, he finds ways to complete plays and get to the spots he wants on a pretty consistent basis, a lot to like about his game.
Community Christian Junior Guard Jimmy Forte: He put up some major numbers this season and it raised plenty of questions as not too many people had seen him play before. He came to the Fab 40 Camp to prove himself and it didn’t take very long as he scored a quick amount of points in his first game and played well throughout the day. He’s a very athletic player with a nice skillset, he get his shot off quickly and gets good lift so he doesn’t have much of an issue scoring regardless of who is defending him.
Pamlico County Senior Guard George Jones: Impressive performance from Jones throughout the day, he’s a player that is efficient with the touches he gets and plays with physicality and a high motor. He played some forward for his high school team but don’t let that confuse you, he has all the tools to be a very good guard on the next level.
Wayne Country Day Senior Marcus Metcalf: Athleticism is what you probably have heard about from him already and rightfully so, he throws down some impressive dunks and uses the athletic ability on the defensive side as well. He was a huge part of Wayne Country Day making the run that they did in the playoffs last season that landed them in the State Championship, will be a nice pickup for a school at the appropriate level without a doubt.
Northside-Pinetown Senior Johnathan Clark: He started off slow in the first two games but seemed to get better as the day went on and was solid in his last game of the day. Scoring ability and athleticism are two things that you will notice about him, played the game with a good amount of energy.
